Im not sure, if it even stands for anything. I noticed u listed in MS like multiple sclerosis. The MS Contin thi is just a brand name for morphine which is a narcotic pain med. the "MS" in MS Contin has no relevance 2 MS the neurological disorder... if thats y u were asking.

You are right Laurie! MS stands for morphine sulfate and the contin is continuous release.
