I don't know what would be causing pinched nerves, your doc needs to do a specific test to find out why.
Neurontin may help with the pain, but it may take several days until you feel relief. Hang in there, your doc may raise the dose of this medication slowly, as well, so you don't have a bad reaction to it.

Numbness - Could compressed nerves in neck cause both legs from knees down to toes and rt hand to go
... numbness/had a pinched nerve in neck, both legs from knees to toes and right hand went conpletely numb.
