I was told to start taking baby aspirin daily. Due to a muscle injury, I began taking Daypro, which I already had at home. Because of using these two, I have taken the ranitidine to prevent stomach upset. I went to the Daypro site and discovered the other two are on the list of drugs not to mix. The only "odd" symptoms I have now are flu-like - fatigue and body aches.
What can happen when mixing Daypro with aspirin or ranitidine?

Do not take aspirin or any other anti-inflammatory medications while taking Daypro, unless your doctor tells you to do so.
Daypro can increase water retention. Use with caution if you have heart disease or high blood pressure.
If you are taking Daypro for an extended period, your doctor should check your blood for anemia.
Daypro can prolong bleeding time. If you are taking a blood-thinning medication , use Daypro with caution.
I hope this helps you
