loulou1704My Dad takes Plavix as the result of having a heart stint installed. He feels nauseated about half an hour after taking it with food in the morning. What can be done to mitigate the sick feeling he has? He's miserable. Any ideas? Thank you so much, we appreciate your suggestions. Sincerely, Debbie

Thank you Rajive, I'll pass your suggestion along. Another member suggested it as well, so it's worth a try! Have you ever gotten a sick feeling from taking it, and did you have to experiment with food timing to get past it? I would like to give my Dad an idea of what others have experienced. Debbie

Most welcome Debbie, mostly meds have different reactions to different people depending upon various factors, I have never ever had any side effects taking Plavix, at times have felt fatigued, wish you & your dad the best!

I only hope that it will help your father, with heart medications they don't want us to use antacids because they can stop the Plavix from working properly.
