What bipolar drug is good to take without serious side effects for a mild case of bipolar disorder?

Details:

I've taken abilify since 2006 and in 2008 was diagnosed with apnea. This side effect I did not know about from my Doctor who had no clue that this could be a side effect. Who can you put your trust in?

What do you mean "what side effect the apnea" and is it central or obstructive? Is Abilify a good drug to take for bipolar disorder?

abilify is good if u have a week to adhust to it before starting work.

Try Depakote as a mood stabalizer. With me i stayed away from Lithium ( made me aggressive) and stay away from Geodon. Prozac is good for depression and anxiety. Ablify works wonders on me, as an anti-psychoctic

You may want to consider a low dose if Neurontin or Topamax. Although they have their own side effects and adverse events, they can provide some relief, usually, without too much difficulty. Good Luck!
