I am prescribed 60mg a day, in 3 doses. Sometimes, I forget whether I have taken this medication, and I want to know what the effects are, if I should accidentally double-up on doses.

Hi pj1500,
Depending on what you are prescribed this med for,if its as a muscle relaxant used for pain etc, then you need to take only the prescribed amount.
Overdose can be fatal if you take too many doses close together, the symptons may include drowsiness, fast heartbeat, tremors or shaking, slurred speach, confusion, vomiting, chest pain or seizure,if you are experiencing any of the above you should seek medical attention straight away!
To avoid forgetting if you have taken your dose, you could maybe set an alarm on your phone or a reminder just to be on the safe side and so that you will have a record of wheather you've taken that dose or missed it,that way you can avoid making the mistake of taking extra or doubling up on your doses!!
Hope this helps,
Take care and be safe!!
