You should not take Soma while pregnant. There are no adequate studies in pregnant women as to the effect in the unborn child. The medication is a central nervous system depressant which is not good to be using while a baby's brain and spinal cord are developing. this medication is also addictive and the baby can have withdrawals when born. Just not a good idea to use while pregnant. If you have been on Soma along time you should ask your doctor about whether you can just stop taking or if you should taper off.
