Rabeprazole extended release capsule formulation is a new drug application so all the details of the formulation/capsule is not available yet. However, it is known that Rabeprazole sodium extended-release 50 mg capsules combines two different kinds of drug releasing mechanisms in one capsule.

Rabeprazole sodium delayed release tablets are currently marketed by Eisai Inc. as ACIPHEX.
