What are possible effects of taking Ritalin, Dexedrine, and Cylert for 12 years?

Dispite the rapid evolution of stimulant medication, there is somewhat a lack of reliable research on long term effects of the medication. There are some reasons why this is happening: prior to the 21st century, it has not been recognized by the medical community that children with ADHD have more than a 30% chance of still having symptoms into adulthood, so the majority of the empirical data surrounding medication trials only outline effects on children.

Currently, Adult ADHD is defined as a disorder and because of the increase of testing stimulant meds on adults, a better idea of the medications long term effects may begin to emerge.

I have not come across any literature; scientific or otherwise that suggests any adverse long term effects from taking these medications. Your lack of memories may be linked to the disorder itself or something else entirely.
