a friend of mine was on suboxone while she was pregnant and beleves that her infant was going thru withdrawl symptoms after she gave birth to him and i am trying to gather information for her about the withdrawl symptoms that and infant may go thru

I am pretty sure this poster means the Mom was on subs when she was pregnantwand now wondering if the Baby is in withdrawal from that. Gonna b same for sub/opiate wd in adult, but add excessive crying,- symptoms of opiat wd r, jerking, muscle spasms, diarrhea, runny nose, insomnia, restless leg and lots of crying. Please go to suboxone homepage and look for the 1 8oo number to call and ask if there is a doctor close by you who can treat a baby in subs wd or call the local methadone clinic for a doctor referall to treat baby in subs wd. Clinic may have dr., medical college hospital or pharmacist would b next to ask. If yov start a thread w/ Robert-325 on the forum-discussion board, he probably will know.My prayers r with u. patti

... i've been told before that it take 3-4days for opiates to work their way thru your system and i dont know how accurate that info is... or ...
