... zyban and he gave me these.and ot says for depression

Wellbutrin is the same medicine in a different strenght as Zyban. It is an antidepressant, although before Chantix, it was listed as the top anti smoking medicine. It tends to turn you sense of smell way, way up and cigarettes will stink to high heaven.
