We are planning to try to get pregnant in December. Is it safe to use Chantix prior to pregnancy?

The elimination half-life of varenicline is approximately 24 hours. It takes 5.5 half life's for a drug to be eliminated from your system.
Therefore Chantix should be out of your system in 132 hours i.e. 5.5 days (24 hours x 5.5). There is no note of having to hold off pregnancy for any length of time after stopping.
There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women.
