Does anyone know what is an alternative when you cannot tolerate water pills?

There are herbal formulations you can try, such as dandelion root. I used a product called "taraxatone" in the past and it helped me shed 3-4lbs of water, but then I was dieting and was using it for a specific non health related purpose. You should also be drinking as much water during the day as you can, as the more you drink, theless you retain. Shoot for at least 2.5l per day. If your doctor is prescribing dieuretics like spironolactone and your not handling them wellyou should speak with him first.
