Was I kept on haldol too long? I was put on it in 2002 for a tic disorder and in 09 he took me off?

i was kept on haldol for 8 yrs. 2-1/2 months later i suffered devastating effects that lasted almost a year now. i was just diagnosed with severe
narcolepsy/ rem disorder with complications, i dont have a life anymore
i'm a total mess,my mri's, eeg's and cat scans were normal my friend who
is a bio chemist gave me a list of withdrawal and i have almost all of them
