Will vyvanse make me stay up all night?

I have adhd and I took a vyvanse 60mg for the first time at 2:00 pm and now I can't sleep

I noticed it stopped my racing thoughts and calmed me down

You should try to take your medication first thing in the morning. Taking it earlier will help keep you from sleeping at night. If you take it early in the morning and still have trouble sleeping, talk to your prescribing Dr. about it.

Yeah my son was on Vyvanse and you are supposed to take it as soon as you wake up so you don't have that problem.

oh,yes!you are taking it too late in the day!Try more like 9 or 10 am.
