I have a blood level of vitamin d of 9. dr prescribed 5000IU twice a day. I want toknow all the side effects I could experience. I am a low metabolizer so think it is too high

Taking the recommended dosage of Vitamin D3 does not usually cause any side effects. However, taking large amounts over a period of time may cause some unwanted effects that can be serious.
