Every Doctor I talk to says that isn't possible. There has to be something in the vicodin I am reacting to. I can keep it down if I take 1/2 a pill, wait a couple hours and take the other 1/2. But it doesn't even take the edge off the pain. Whereas, Percocet takes away the pain, no dizzyness and I fell clear headed.

I'm the same way! I cannot take hydrocodone or codeine without feeling sweaty, dizzy and nauseated but oxycodone does just fine-no problem. It is just what our body tolerates best. Everyone is different. They just dont like to give Percocet because it is a Schedule 2 controlled drug and more regulated. Vicodin and other hydrocodone products are Schedule 3 and less regulated.
