... Prior to the stroke I was taking a baby aspirin. About a month ago I must have stressed my right foot from too much walking which became so swollen I found it hard to put weight on. A day or so later it appeared that I had blood in the arch area below and over the toes. I dealt with this for about two weeks after applying ice baths, it is close to normal. This past week, while sitting in a lazy boy recliner, the major muscle inside my right upper leg running from the crotch to the knee decided to cramp. It was the most painful thing I`ve experienced in a very long time. Two days later, blood had again appeared in the area of the cramp. I`m hoping this is not because I am taking Coumadin. Any thoughts, experiences, or advice in the matter?
I`ve been on Coumadin(brand name) since 2010. I had a light stroke and dealing with A-fib?
