Is Valum better than Ativan?

I take 05mg Ativan but recently had a procedure done at the Dr.s office and he gave me 5mg valume they seemed to work better than Ativan ever has. Could I get some other opinions?

You might need your ativan increased a bit, that's a very small dose. Valium is often abused and drs aren't real happy to prescribe it.

Hello loveless, I also agree with the others that the ativan may need to be increased, you are on a low dose. Valium has a longer half life than Ativan may be the reason it works better for you.
