Diovan HCT is a brand name for the combination of the drugs valsartan and hydrochlorothiazide.
A generic only becomes available when the brand name product loses it's patent or exclusivity protection.
There are no generics available for Diovan HCT at the moment, but one generic manufacturer has had "tentative approval" from the FDA so they might not be too far away.
