I'm 17 (18 in a month) and interested in mirena. I've been on the pill since not to long after my 16th birthday. I find it extremely inconvenient. I leave for college in the fall and I am looking to simplify things a little since I will be living away from home and will not have access to a car all the time for pharmacy runs for things like my pill. Also I am in a steady (and sexually active) relationship, so an unplanned pregnancy is a concern.
Are there any other teen (or young ladies) who havent had children yet who would like to share their stories? Mostly I'm worried about the pain involved with insertion.
