Question: where can one get meds checked and verified as valid?
Today I was surprised to see 3 Nifedipine E R TABS in my stool. They are intact and I doubt that I got any benefit from the pills! I take 1 a day and with 3 in my stools I am concerned! Want to have them analyzed. Can anyone recommend a lab?

I had this to happen to me recently. I take nefedipine er too and i checked with the pharmasist and they told me that the pill bleeds out as you need it and the pills are made to come thru the stool. I was also worried that i wouldn't get my full dose but they guaranteed that that is what the center with the spot was for to release the medicine. Does make you wonder thou!!!

I cheched ER pills online and found that the pills actually have a polimer coating with a laser hole on one side and a pourous material on the other and somehow the good stuff gets out of the case and the case, well, gets deposited in the stool. Feel better now! THANKS
