no, as long as you follow the prescription orders and do not misuse the drug or take more often than needed, the amount of acetaminophen that is in Ultracet is not harmful to the average person. the pill contains as much acetaminophen as a regular strength Tylenol does. Hope this helps, Manda

Ynot~ Considering the person has normal liver and kidney function, I would say that 10 ultracets a week would not be harmful. The maximum dosage allowed per day is 8, with no more than 2 to be taken every 6 hours. Ultracet overdose can be fatal. Follow these guidelines and you should be okay.
I'm sorry i forgot to add, that is 325 mg of acetaminophen per tablet.
