That is kinda a hard one to call and I don't want to get you unnecessarily worried. Most opiates ( although this is a mild one) will show positive for 3 to 8 days depending on several factors including how fast the metabolism is, how long and how much a person takes, and how long before the test. He may very well pass this test as men tend to work hard, and sweat hard, have faster metabolisms sometimes. If he has an RX for this medication, tell him to have that ready just in case, the rx bottle usually will do. Some tests are not as specific either, a mail off test is supposedly the most accurate although we read on here all the time about false positives and negatives.
