I just received a e-mail from webmd.com with the title saying "The truth about tryptophan". I got it yesterday. I didn't get to read it yet. http://www.webmd.com/food-recipes/features/the-truth-about-tryptophan?ecd=wnl_day_112609

the dose is based on the individual 100%. with tryptophan im not sure how long the onset is but if its anything like SSRIs then it takes 4-6 weeks before you will notice a difference and know if this is even the right medication for you (ex: side effects, increased depression/anxiety). also most meds for these disorders are once a day.
