thanks for the reply, saw my doc this afternoon said I should have about a week of wd left, I have already been 7 days without any. but then I wasn,t warned about wd top begin with. I was taking 8mg a day,and sometimes would go a couple of days without taking any then, been on the subs for 9 months. was really surprised that it took about 4 days for the wd to show and initially wasn't sure what was going on.
Was being treated for chronic pain by the VA, which the treatment was load you up on hydrocodone 10s for about 7 years and we all know where that goes, the tolerance , needing more, and the road goes on. The subs were great to start with and up until I decided to quit. Managed to see an ortho surgeon that could treat the pain at it's source, no pain so I didn't need to take the subs.

I don't think people are aware of the impact of this drug, I certainly wasn't. It is much more powerful and addictive than I ever imagined and the wd worse. I know it serves a purpose, however I think the Docs need to go into much more detail concerning the use and consequences of discontinuinguse.
Unfortunately, suboxone is just as addictive as any opiate. Many doctors don't know or don't want to know of the facts. Glad you are almost over the worst and should gradually be getting better now.
Thanks laurie, doc rxed a muscle relaxant today to help with the cramps. I really was surprised at the level of wd as was only taking 8mg a day. I really should have tapered instead of just stopping, but being this far along I didn't want to start the subs again. I can handle what is left, I hope, it is not as bad as coming off hydrocodone so far. thanks again for the support and God Bless surfdog
Hang in there Surfdog. Glad you got the muscle relaxant. You are almost there!!
