... until March 2011 however the date keeps changing to a later one. (This status began in Nov 2010). Does anyone know of a pharmacy where they still have a supply of Flexeril brand name only?

I just did some checking I am not sure what state you live in the one pharmact here does handle both, from what I was told some insurances are hesitante to pay unless the doctor submits a form to them explaining that the generic form is not effective for you, I am sorry I can not give you a more specific answer but from the two pharmacies that I talked with that is the protocol in this state. I so understand I have 4 fractures in my back and have to be one one medication, it is not made generic the original company has the patent on it and my insurance company refuses to pay for a months supply so what I ended up (I know I couldn't do it continually) but until things improve I have no choice but to pay and the cost is 270.00, I again am sorry that I could not be of more help but hope maybe this may give you an idea and maybe after talking with your doctor maybe he can help in some way, You have my very best wishes,
