... my period. But now I think it has stopped should I finish the rest of my pills, I am on my third week or should I start a new pack?

I'm not sure about how many days you missed the pills on ... whether you missed pills on consecutive days.
If you didn't follow these instructions then it'll be better if you start a new pack when your cycle starts next month. Use extra protection as directed when you start the new pack (and extra protection until then).
What happens if I miss a dose?
Missing a pill increases your risk of becoming pregnant.
If you miss one "active" pill, take two pills on the day that you remember. Then take one pill per day for the rest of the pack.
If you miss two "active" pills in a row in week one or two, take two pills per day for two days in a row. Then take one pill per day for the rest of the pack. Use back-up birth control for at least 7 days following the missed pills.
