Trazodone - Is it better to take your Trazadone first and then take Klonopin (clonazepam) closer to?

- klonopin, restless legs syndrome, periodic limb movement disorder, clonazepam, trazodone
Here's the question ... I was told to increase my Trazadone to 100 mg., was on 75 mg, and decrease my Klonopin (clonazepam) to 2 mg or less ... I was needing about 3 mg ... I was taking my Klonopin about 10 pm and then about 10:30 pm taking my Trazadone ... but last night I reversed them ... just curious if they work better with the Klonopin being closer to bed since it seems to kick in faster?

It makes sense to do it the way you did last night for just the reason you said.

Its not a good idea to take both trazodone and klonopin too close together. You should space them at least a couple of hrs apart unless your doctor told you to do it a half hour apart.
