I take trazodone 100 mg at bedtime can it be used for sleeping.

I take 100mg of trazodone for sleep. It took 5 days before it started to work and even now I can't get back to sleep when I wake up at night without other assistance, but the pharmacist says that may change over time. This used to be prescribed as an antidepressant. Now, as I understand it, it is mostly prescribed for the side effect of drowsiness. I hope it is working for you now. It can take up to a couple of weeks to kick in.
