Took my first Trazodone tonight (about 10 minutes ago)... I will admit I am terrified I have read the nightmare stories-- even though I know there are lots of positive ones too... All a part of this anxiety cycle I'm in the process of breaking. I'm going to win this battle! Say a prayer that I sleep soundly my new found friends... I am so desperate for a good night's sleep...

Hello Lisa. Trazodone is a excellant drug to help you sleep. Truly is. Many of the members from our site still take it. Side effects are relatively, mild, minimal. I was on it, and only stopped taking it, because I had built up an intolerance to it. Give it a fair chance, and I believe you'll be glad to find you'll be getting a fair nights sleep.Good night then :-0)

Hi NJMominVA,
I take Trazodone for sleep and it really works for me. Its the only way I can actually get a good night's sleep. It works fast, and I can stay asleep. I don't have that hung over feeling in the morning like I have had with other sleep aides.

Yes, I used Trazodone 100 - 150 mg for some 20 years for sleep. It worked well - no problems with it all. I hope it works well for you too! -
