Tramadol/ Ultram vs Oxycodone?

Tramadol/ Ultram is not a good drug if you are prone to seizures would something like Oxycodone be something similar to possibly ask my Dr. to switch me too?

Oxycodone is much stronger so it does work much better than tramadol for pan but it also is a lot more addictive.
