Topicort (desoximetasone) is topical anti-inflammatory steroid cream. If your slow healing spot is a cold sore you should not use this on it. You are better to use an anti-viral cream eg. Denavir or Zovirax or if it has been there for a while maybe an antiseptic or anti-bacterial cream. You may wish to visit your local pharmacist for advice.
Ringworm is a fungal infection. Topicort will not help ringworm.
