Recall: Endocet (oxycodone / acetaminophen) Tablets, ( 10mg, 325mg ) - Some Bottles Contain Different Strength Tablets

June 27, 2011

Audience: Pharmacy, Patients.

ISSUE: Endo Pharmaceuticals and FDA notified pharmacists and patients of a nationwide consumer level recall of Endocet (oxycodone/acetaminophen, USP) Tablets, 10 mg/325 mg because some bottles may contain different strength tablets, resulting in patients taking more than the intended acetaminophen dose.

Mary there way another warning it was by qualitest and it was Butalbital, hydrocodone and Caffeine, some pills contained the just the Butalbital and Caffeine and not the hydrocodone (if I am not mistaken) but AGAIN it was Manufactured by QUALITEST.

these bottle were according to what I read also contained acetaminophen and some were mislabeled. so the drugs in this were Butalbital, acetaminophen, caffeine and hydrocodone sorry for not being exact

Goodmorning folks. thanks Mary and Billy. Between the two of you, you always seem to keep us on the up and up. Billy, hopefully, you are somewhat better than you were yesterday. and Mary, missed you yesterday, so, always nice to see you, hopefully you are also doing well. Ha! Coffee, and tea is now being served, enjoy, both pots just made, and so freshly brewed. The quiche were made by me, so please be complimentary. Hot as Haitites, so there is lemonade, if you prefer something cool (as well as mineral water). Oh, sweetlemon, is runing late this morning, so save a goodie for her, we are expecting a few more of the group to come by, but theres plenty to, go around. Cream and sugar?

Hi there Billy. Will you need to go into the hospital, or stay home? said that poorly, can you be treated as a out-patient? I know you need your rest, try and take a catnap, grab some zzzzzs. I seldom do it, but once upon a time, I could grab a nap, all be it for say hour. Not a deep sleep, (that would be like going to heaven), suffering is the right/correct word from insomnia, but resting, it really would help me to feel stronger, more energy.
