This round yellow gel cap is for a sore throat, respiratory ailment or flu?

- influenza, tonsillitis/pharyngitis, strep throat
It is a small gel cap with no imprint I recall and looks like a vitamin E cap, but not egg shaped - it is round. It is a narcotic or local anesthetic that you crush at the back of the throat, coats the throat and (possibly can) knocks you out in 5 minutes at the most. Wake up feeling much better in 4-6 hours, depending.

Tessalon Pearls (Benzonatate Capsules) 100mg and 200mg.
If this is what you are referring to, they are non-narcotic and are not supposed to be crushed.
