... bull. Has anyone ever heard of a vet using this drug? I've been checking vet websites and there is no information about using this drug on an animal

etodolac is similar to ibuprofen. if the dog was recently injured or has problems standing up due to pain then that is why the vet prescribed it. the vet knows what they are doing. alot of medications that are given to humans can be given to dogs. not sure about cats though.
