I am suffering from I.B.S. and it is a real pain for me. I cant hardly eat out in public because I am afraid of diarreha!! Will Colestid work?

Hey Capucine,
Colestid is a cholesterol lowering medication that acts on bile salts. The following link lists the possible side effects:

I would be cautious as far as not getting to far from the bathroom until you know how this medication affects you. Keep in mind that not everyone has these side effects.
