This is my 5th day of Lexapro my anxiety and depression seem to be a little better my psychiatrist?

Details:

... says it takes 5 days to get in the blood stream I think it's making me a little out of it. Taking 10mg Lexapro what should I expect?

Taking any mood changing drug will make you relaxed and sleepy for a while. This is because the strain has be lifted Medically, but still there.

Thanks for the advice,
I'm just noticing the switch, now I am suffering from insomnia, can't sleep at all at night but sleep through the whole day. Thinking about asking my psychiatrist about switching to Trazodone.

If your doing well with what your on, but sleeping to much may be on to high of dose. Ask if you can reduce the amount, you are taking. You have made it through any bad side effects that might cause trouble.

I too was taking lexapro and it does work try taking 5mg instead it worked for me, but when you decide to stop that is another question its awful.
