Why would temazepan be given to a pregnant woman whose Wa?

Details:

The woman's waters had broken some 14 hours prior to being given temazepan & she had contractions.

It's unfortunate no one answered ... I don't know the answer but hope you managed to get a reason from the prescribing doctor.
