Details:
I already eat a low fat diet and have been for years. Work out 5-7 days a week and lift weights2-3X's a week. Have been 15lbs. overweight for last 4 years and can't get it off. Stay between 1400 and 1700 calories most all the time.
Dr. prescribed Xencial and am trying it. Very expensive. 6 days so far and hardly any side effects, but no weight loss or difference in my clothes yet.
Take with meals. When and how will it get rid of unwanted fat around belly, waist, and hips only? Rest of body is fine. the extra 15lbs. make me in the overweight catagory. 5' 5" and 160lbs.

Xenical blocks the absorption of fat from the meal you take the tablet with.
It is recommended that Xenical be taken with each main meal - If your meal contains no fat or very little the xenical will be of little benefit.
Losing weight isn't easy and there is no magic pill, potion or prescription that can take the place of the hard yards that you have to do for yourself. It takes a combination of healthy eating, regular physical activity and the will-power to keep at it to achieve weight loss. Xenical works by blocking 30% of the fat you consume from being absorbed. If you reduce your calorie intake, participate in regular physical activity such as walking, and use Xenical you will start to see positive weight loss results.
