I have a problem with nocturia in addition to bph and I take tamsulosin (generic flomax) a couple of hours before I go to bed. Many people take it before bed so they don't experience the side effects. Just experiment and see what works best for you. I tried it in the morning, after dinner, and finally a couple of hours before bed, which works best for me.
