I have been taking wellbutrin for about 5 months now and they are going to ADD lexapro. Does anyone?

I take Wellbutrin along with another antidepressant, Pristiq, and have for many years. Wellbutrin works well with other antidepressants as it controls dopamine while others control serotonin and/or norepinephrine in the brain. I think you'll find the combination very effective.

Hello tom cat. Wellburtin, although popular as a antidepressant and a successfull mind you, carries its share of side effects when mixed with a SSRI such as Lexapro. The risks run high as too possible short and long term repercussions. Regards, pledge

Are you at the max dose of welbutrin? If you mix the two there is always the potential for seizures and serotonin syndrome, however they are dose related and while there is a potential, it doesn't mean it will happen.
