wondering if someone can help me. Ive been taking oxy 80 for 2 yrs for back pain just got on suboxne and I cant hold down any food and my stomach hurts all of the time and I am throwing up for the first 2 days. Is that from too much opioid or is it from the suboxne. what can I take for my tum and is there another type of suboxne that wont affect my stomach.

They say when you start Suboxone, If you start to soon after taking opiates,(Oxy 80mgs) Then you can go through precipitated withdrawls, and thats why you should wait awhile,so many hours before starting.Sounds kinda like whats happenng here,How long did you wait?How much Suboxone did you take?

There is another medication with bupenorphine but not the second blocker medication, the medication is called subutex. It works very much the same, just doesn't have the second medication in it. If you took the suboxone less than 24 hours from the last time you took the oxy, you probably are in precipitated withdrawal, you should contact the doctor who prescribed the suboxone in any case and let him/her know you are this sick and see what can be done. If you waited the required 24 hours and still are this bad off, contact the doctor, let them know, ask about subutex. Feel better.
