Could Diovan be the cause? I also take: Clonidine .2mg 4 times a day; Felodipine 10mg and Spironolactone 25mg once a day for high blood pressure and I take 300mg of Bupropion for depression. I am 25lbs. overweight but have lost 65lbs. and still losing. I also carefully monitor my salt/sodium intake. This problem began after I started taking the 3 extra blood pressure meds with the Diovan. My kidney/blood pressure specialist has no explanation. Please help, I am concerned. Thank you.

I looked up Diovan to see what they say. There is nothing like that in the side effects. Then I wondered if the action of diovan could cause a circulation problem, but it should actually help bad circulation. Do you legs get hot or swollen? I would see my primary. It could be a circulatory problem or some other problem not related to the diovan. Do you elevate your feet when you are sitting? Are you diabetic?

Kaismama: Thanks for your input, I appreciate it. No, I am not diabetic; my legs don't get hot; my feet do swell slightly if I stand for hours but both my internist and high blood pressure specialist have checked the circulation in my feet which is fine; I do elevate my feet when sitting if possible.
As I look back, this problem started after the other 3 Bp meds were added to the Diovan so it might not be the Diovan by itself but in combination with other 3. Is anyone aware of problems mixing Diovan with Felodipine 10mg, Clonidine .2mg 4 times daily and Spironolactone 25mg? Thanks for your help.
I checked the others side effects, and there wasn't anything. I'll run an interaction check and see what pops up.
The only interaction I'm coming up with is low blood pressure, when all your meds are run together. This is why I think its got to be something else other then your meds.
