Im sure they will have to test your blood before doing any surgery to see what you have in your system, but if you are with someone you know they can just let the people in ER know about what meds you are currently taking. you should carry a card and attach it to your ID if you have cell phone you should keep that info on your ice number.ice stands for In Case of Emergencies ,it was started by a EMT driver "ambulance driver" if you have a cell all emergency services know to look in your cell phone contact numbers.

Subzero is correct, you should have a Suboxone ID card in your wallet and put it in the ICE listing on your phone. You should also have your suboxone doctors name listed on the ID card. Be honest with any doctor or Er that you are on it. Make sure your emergency contacts all know to tell the EMT's or other medical personnel that you are on it, how much, and how long you have been on it.

I was on Nardil for many years and I wore a Medical ID bracelet... you need a Medical ID alert bracelet... you can put the name of the medication on the bracelet! Good luck!
