I wanted to have a generic that was comparable to Tarka, because of the cost. My doctor perscribed Amlodipine-Benaz 5/20mg caps. Is there a big difference between the two pills?

My mother ran out of Tarka and has been without for 4 days. She has verapamil. Should she take that?
Her doctor will not renew her Tarka since she has not been in for a check-up. It may take several days to gat an appointment. She has Verapamil available. Should she tak that?
