Helllo. i have started ditropan 3 days ago. I was supposed to take it 3 times daily 5 mg. I cut down rather rapidly after the first few doses to 2 times daily 2,5 mg. I got very dizzy, nauseous and feel constantly cloudy in the head.
Have any of you experienced this and did it pass?
I am trying to persist because it does help my two problems, overactive bladder and hyperhydrosis, (excessive sweating). Thanks for telling me about your experiences.

Taking DDAVP through rhinal tube for "possible" diabetes insipidus... I void way more urine (2 to 3x as much) than I drink fluids/eat watery foods, and void frequently (also under treatment for OAB). DDAVP slows down the frequency/volume but after a few days on it, my blood pressure spikes way up, have intense headache, and frequency/volume increases. Taking lowest possible dose once/day. Anyone else have a similar experience?

I have noticed an increase in the volume of noises in my head. I will go off it for a longer period of time and see if there is any improvement. It may be something else causing this but want to make sure.

OAB for several years; tried all meds available but now even last one to 'work' somewhat has stopped. Seems body adjusts and Rx not effective. I took my first dose of oxybutynin yesterday, and I started having to pee every 5 min and my bladder was so painful I was in tears a few times. Has anyone had a similar reaction, or am I crazy? I thought it was supposed to help my issue. I have a prolapsed bladder, it hurt so bad I was shaking and almost did not make it to the bathroom to pee several times, I almost peed my pants.
Any info would be appreciated. Ty

I have spina bifida and am planning to get pregnant. I am in the process of changing meds. My dr said i can only take category b and c drugs. Has anyone been on enablex, ditropan, or any other type of antispasmodic or anticholinergic drug that was a category c while pregnant? Any other info u have on meds for neurogenic bladder while pregnant is greatly appreciated.

I have cervical spinal stenosis and fibromyalgia. One of the many wonderful side-conditions brought on by one or both or these conditions is hesitant and/or irritable bladder. I can sit for 5 or more minutes trying to coax my bladder to let loose. Also, I feel like I have to urinate very frequently, usually...

One of the possiblie side effects of flomax is prolonged erection. I'm 16, and wondering if this side effect would not affect me, cause of my age. I know flomax is usually perscribed to older men, i was thinking it may be more common for them to have that than me. If anyone can help shed some light on this, I'd appreciate it

I'm presently taking .4mg flomax for BPH and the side effects are fairly severe: lack of muscle strength, almost constant stuffy nose, problems falling to sleep. I tried to lower the dose by making my own .2mg capsules, but the morning retention and frequency at night got worse. I have taken cialis at 2.5 mg daily for bph but it didn't help enough. Would be interested if the 5mg /day of cialis works on the bph as well as flomax, but with less side effects.
