How long is it safe to use menest?

i have taken this product for 3yrs and premarin for 2yrs. before that when i had my hystorecomy.i was 50 and now i am 55.

Are horses used in the making of menest?

Primarin was made by abusive treatment of horses... pregnant mares' urine. I switched to menest because I thought it was synthetic, and did not use horses. I want to know whether this is true.
