I was taking Lipitor 20 mg a day but needed a less costly pill. The Dr. gave me Pravastatin at 80 mg. They said that was the same as 20 mg's of the Lipitor. Sounds like a lot to me.

Can lipitor cause low blood sugar. I have taken it or 2 weeks and my count was 37 53 58 with some counts being normal. I am not diabetic. It has been low quite often.
