Does this drug really helps with rheumatoid arthiritis. I took this drug and to me it was really helping me but, my doctor told me to stop the drug because, it was effecting my liver.

Yes, sulfasalazine does help with rheumatoid arthritis and yes, it can affect your liver. If it is affecting your liver, your doctor is right to take you off it.
